Read this story. Finally there is a light at the end of the tunnel for this guy. I pray that truth comes out and if he is an innocent man, be released. If he is not innocent, let no one have the courage to take the life of someone else for any reason. And that applies to him and to us as well. I pray that I will have the courage to say that all my life. Death can not be defeated by death. Death can only be defeated by life and life in fullness. Even if the crime is the worst in the world, God’s mercy is greater and greater every moment. If not for God’s mercy, who will be saved I wonder!

Faith is a tricky thing. Faith requires acknowledgement. We can only believe in someone or something after we acknowledge it as a being. It starts with oneself and then things around us to people around us and the whole humanity as God’s creation. Therefore all of God’s creation as good enough for God to begin with before we attribute everything else to what God created. Faith starts with the acknowledgement of that which is out there as good enough in itself. When something is good enough in itself, it is ultimately good enough for the creator. Faith is a tricky thing. It challenges us to become who we are primarily created to be and then faith will emerge out of nowhere giving rise to all kinds of expressions of charity.

Visiting with a dear friend of mine who is suffering cancer I learned is bigger than sickness and pain. It is bigger than myself and others. It’s power and potential are transformative. We can laugh and celebrate life because life is God and God is with us on earth while on earth and then we are with God while in heaven.

Celebrate life today. Don’t let it pass by you.

Faith is a journey gently taking in all that does not make sense to human senses. It is walk of life where light is only a possibility but moving toward that light is a necessity.
